Cherry has an heir (finally!)

  Last time Cherry had four children, none of which were heir material, but the last one was the girl she had been wanting from the beginning.

  Sorry Cherry, there's no escaping your fate!

Cherry: *gazes longingly*  I could swim it.

Even if you could, the Kraken would get you, he guards the ocean for me.

Cherry: What's a kraken?

Just a gigantic Sea Monster that eats sims.

Cherry: Oh.

  Derp!  Bad age up picture.  This poor kid has issues!

  

And first fail---someone let the baby pass out on the floor.  

It's about here I realize my screenshots folder is in shambles.  I had gone through and deleted a bunch of pics, not realizing my game would decide to fill in the blanks with newer pics instead.  So all my newer pics are mixed in with older pics, across multiple saves---what mess---let's see what I can untangle from it!!

  Jackfruit becomes a teen.  His traits so far are insane, inappropriate, daredevil, and evil.

  

He proves his evil intentions right away, by stealing a lollipop from his younger sibling Avocado.  Who some where at some point, had a birthday, lol

  Avocado: *cries*

  Jack: Ummm, yummm.  This is the best lollipop I've ever had!

 

Avocado and Pomelo look very similar, but Pomelo is older, and...cuter, despite his derpier birthday picture.

   Morty: That is unacceptable behavior from a son of mine!  I'm going to teach him a lesson!  *yells*  Jack!  Downstairs.  Now.

  Jack: *grumbles*  Yes Dad.  What?!  What did I do?

  Morty: Look right here.

  Jack: Right there?  At that swirly thing?

  Morty: Yep, right there.

  Jack: This is stupid, why should I...ooooh.  Look at all the spinnies!  *is dazzled*

  Morty:Now act like a duck, while I take blackmail pictures.  If you ever steal from a baby again I will post them on the internet for the whole world to see!

  Jack: *flaps arms*  Quack!  Quack!  Quack!

  Morty: *laughs*

 

Cherry: *yells*  Morty!  What are you guys doing down there?

Morty: Nothing, just playing a game of duck, duck, Jack!  (badoom boom!  haha!  Bad pun, I know! haha!)

Cherry: Aren't you guys a little old for that game?

Morty: No, we changed up the rules a bit for older sims.

Cherry: Oh, okay.  Carry on!

Ah, Morty, not so sure about your methods, but they seem to have worked!

Morty: But of course!

Notice the lack of income---they still don't have paint on all of the walls!  Cherry---what do you think you are doing?

Cherry: Cooking waffles.

Yeah, the kitchen is downstairs.

Cherry: *wanders aimlessly*  I'll find it eventually!

No idea why she decided to stroll around the whole house with the waffle pan, before finally finding her way back to the kitchen to cook said waffles.  *shakes head*  Sims!

  There's no more appropriate place for a Bean to be born in than a garden!  Baby number 5 is a boy, Durian.   He's a snob, and a green thumb, go figure! lol :P

  

  Still not an heir though.  *sigh*  Here comes baby #6!  Another girl, named Apricot.  She's an insane genius.  

 

 

Still not an heiress.  *sigh*  Birthdays galore!

  Durian becomes a toddler.  See, he was so close!  He had the wrong color of eyes though, not that you can see that in this picture of him. XD

  

Avocado becomes a child.

  

Pomelo becomes a teen.  I think he turned out pretty cute.  Let's see, his traits so far are insane, dislikes children, and klepto.  Hey---I think he's missing a trait.  Maybe he'll get it when he becomes an adult.  I'm not even sure why he's missing one!

  

  *sigh*  I always forget to wait a few seconds before taking their picture---so they always look short in their bday pics, lol  

  Cantaloupe becomes a teen.  Another close one, but no dice!

  

Her traits so far: insane, virtuoso, ambitious, mean spirited  Yeah, yeah, some how she skipped her whole childhood in pictures.  It's called middle child syndrome!  Haha!

  Apricot becomes a toddler.

  

Morty: So, this is the one?

Yep, that's the one.

Morty: You don't even have a pic of Cherry giving birth to her!

I do...somewhere.  I think.  I'm pretty sure.  *shrugs*  Oh well, you've seen one sim's birth, you've seen them all.  The important thing is, we finally have an heiress! *throws confetti*  Yay!

  

  Welcome Honeydew!  Her traits are insane, and coward.  Oh dear, she's going to be afraid of everything and pass out over nothing.  *sighs again*  Oh well, at least we have an heiress!!!

  I'm aware she's wearing the same clothes as Apricot was, I was just too lazy to take her into CAS and change it, especially when they are not babies for very long at all.  It seemed like a waste of my efforts, lol

So it only took Cherry 7 kids, where it took her mother 11, lol  Now that I have an heiress, it's time to really get working on Cherry's LTW, and save money for the future trip to find Honey a spouse,  I'm not sure which world we'll look in yet...but I have some time!

Cherry's Souvenirs

Last time, Cherry gathered up enough money to go to Sunset Valley.  She met Mortimer Goth (who mysteriously aged up to a young adult just in time to meet her) and despite herself, managed to somehow charm him long enough to get married to him.  

  Vacation time is over, and they got sent back home.  Spent the $15,000 upgrading their house, but ran out of money too quickly.  I'll have to add on as I'm able!

  

  Now back to Cherry and Morty; Cherry has discovered she brought a little souvenir home from her trip to Sunset Valley.

  

  
Cherry: *pats tummy*  I'm already pregnant with my heir.


*sigh*  We can only hope.

  Morty has the artistic trait, I am so glad that he loves to paint, the household can use all the money it can get, and since I am not controlling anyone other than Cherry, it makes it more challenging!

  Uh, Morty, what are you painting?

Morty: My impression of a forest.

  Oookay then...

 

 Then it's a bunch of Morty painting, Cherry gardening, very boring.  *hits fast forward*  Here comes baby number 1!  It's a boy!

  

 Cherry: A boy?!  I was hoping for a girl!

  Don't be too disappointed Cherry, you get try again, and maybe next time you'll have a girl.

Cherry: It's not the heir?

  Nope, Jackfruit is not heir material.

Jackfruit: *winks* 

I don't trust that wink, or his traits either.  He's insane and evil, not a good combo!

Baby#2!

  

They have another boy.

Cherry: *holds baby out*  You were supposed to be a girl.

  

  Even more than that, he was supposed to be an heir.

  Cherry: *frowns*  He's not the heir either.

  Nope, sorry.  

  Cherry: *sadly*  Too bad.  *brightens up*  This means I get to try for a girl again.

  Sure does.  Baby #2, Pomelo, he's insane and dislikes children.  Jackfruit ages up to a toddler, notice the beautiful heir looking hair (haha!), but his eye color was all wrong.*sigh*

  Jackfruit: *giggles evilly*

 

 Morty is still painting.

 

   Pomelo has a birthday.  

  

 
Cherry finally has her girl, Cantaloupe. She's ambitious and insane, another bad combo.  

  

Cherry: *hugs baby*  I have my little girl, and my heir!

  Well, hate to break it to you Cherry, but while you do finally have a girl, you still don't have an heir.

Cherry: I have to have another one?!

  Yep, you sure do.  

  A family picture of sorts:  Jackfruit in the crib, Pomelo on the floor, and Cantaloupe is in the other crib.  Morty is a good Dad, and helps out.

Jackfruit: *screams*  I want food now!  Feed me!  Feed me or die!! 


Pomelo: *sucks on bottle*

 After Jackfruit has been fed, he has his birthday, by the nasty potty.  He gains the daredevil trait.

 

 Jackfruit:  Off with their heads!

Whose heads?

  Jackfruit: Anyone who opposes me of course!

  Oh, of course!  

Jackfruit: I have a plan to take over the world, I will be the Supreme Ruler of the Galaxy!

  Sorry to burst your bubble there Jack, but you'll never leave this house alive, let alone rule the world.

Jackfruit: What?!  What is this you say?  Heresy!   *waves sword around*

Um yeah, while he spins around in circles---kitties!  Somewhere in there Refrac and Reflec had 3 kittens, named Bob, Bobbi, and Bobette, haha!  I was so inspired when asked for names!  I have no idea which kitties are which in this picture---

Jackfruit: Reading up on the contract, I will find a way to leave this house and rule the world!

 *shrugs*  Well, at least it keeps him out of trouble.

  Nothing too exciting happening.  Just a lot of boring skilling!  No pass outs, or peeing of themselves, so far, they're all doing a great job at keeping the negative points down, lol  

  Cherry's at 3 kids and still doesn't have an heir yet.  After Jelli's 11, I'm not getting too worried---yet. XD

Cherry Gets Married

Last time, we said goodbye to glitches, lags, and crashes.  Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Jelli and family as well.  Cherry was saved to the sim bin, and started fresh in a new world!

  We won't bore people with watching Cherry scrape by and try to earn enough money to travel to a faraway land to find a husband, we'll just move directly to the finding the husband part!

  Cherry: But that was a lot of hard work!  I slaved for weeks!

  Yes, yes you did, and it's boring to read about, sorry.

  Cherry: *pouts*


  Cherry finally digs up enough money to go to Sunset Valley, one of my favorite sims lives there!


  Cherry: Which one?

 

 Isn't it obvious?  

Cherry: Not really.

  Go be nice to the one without the hat.

Cherry: M'kay.  *walks up to man without hat*  Hello, my name is Cherry, what's yours?

Mortimer: *groans*  No!  Not another one!

Cherry: *confused*  Another one what?

Mortimer: I know all about these challenge things, I'm not going to be in another one!

  Now Morty, remember what could happen to you?  Something worse than having Huck for a father in law?

Mortimer: *gulps*  Worse?  Okay, okay.  *deep sigh*  Hi Cherry, I'm Mortimer.

Cornelia: I hope you drown you old goat!

Gunther: I hope you die you old bat!

Mortimer: Ignore my parents, they are always fighting.

Cherry: M'kay.

Mortimer: *suspiciously*  You're easy to get along with.

Cherry: I try.

She's also socially awkward, the less she says, the better!

  Cherry: That's hurtful!

But true, very, very, very true.

  Cherry: So I have a pretty nice house, there's not too much in there yet, but it sure beats the houseboat my family had to live on.

Mortimer: Houseboat?

 Cherry: Yeah, talk about tight quarters, and there were 11 of us.

 Mortimer: *shocked*  11?!

Oh yeah Morty, welcome to a Perfect Genetics challenge, where you have to have kids until you have one that matches Cherry's hair and eye color.

 Mortimer: *groans*

 Cherry: I have cats!  Do you want to see a picture of them?

 Mortimer: Really?  I love cats!

  This version of Mortimer is a Cat Lover, someone has to take care of the cats, and Cherry will be too busy, lol!

 

 

 Cherry invites Mortimer over to her rental place, where she *tries* to put the moves on him.

  Cherry: Sorry!  I keep putting my foot in my mouth!

  And then some!  Good grief, one step forward, two steps back, not even a chat is safe with you!

  Cherry: ...I'm sorry!  I didn't mean to say that you looked like a llama, but that your mother did, no, oh dear, that's not what I meant either!  What I meant was...

  Cherry!  

  Mortimer: You're kind of adorable when you stumble all over your words, you're also way better looking than Huck's daughter!

 

  Cherry: Really? *pauses*  Who is Huck?  And the daughter...

  Mortimer: Nevermind, it's another life of mine.

  Cherry: M'kay.  Hey, I'm starving, and about to pass out from lack of sleep, can I...

  No!  No!  We almost have him Cherry!  You can eat and sleep later!

 Cherry: *sigh*  M'kay.

Finally got them married, it took forever.  Socially Awkward is worse than non-flirty or insane or commitment issues as a trait!  Sheesh!

   Mortimer and his family are loaded with money, but his parents only give him $15,000 measley dollars!  The tight wads, they'll regret that someday, mark my words!!!

Mortimer: Hug?

Cherry: Heck no!  You're butt is ringing!  That's gross!

I had no idea that socially awkward would be such a tough trait to work around.  There is literally no safe interaction for them to perform!  Poor Cherry has to apologize a lot, well, at least until he was added to the household.  Now all bets are off!!  Haha!

As per the Midnight Sun challenge, she found her spouse in another world.  As per the ISBI, I will not be controlling Mortimer, or any of the kids they have, until the torch is passed anyway.  Now onwards to the Perfect Genetics part, I wonder how many kids it will take Cherry and Morty?  
   

Jelli says Goodbye; Cherry says Hello

  Last time there were a ton of glitches going on, yet Jelli managed to finally have an heir.  Baby #11, Cherry had the same hair color and eye color as her mother.

  I had moved them yet again, to an empty Sunset Valley, in a last attempt to save Jelli and family.  Unfortunately the problem followed, I'm pretty sure it's still the IFs connected to the kids (as per ErrorTrap scripterror logs).  They are TAd (I can't find them anywhere, but the crazy game keeps thinking they are there!), but their Chucky twins keep coming out to play.  I even tried installing a no IFs mod, but that didn't help either.  I was too lazy to save all 13 sims to the CAS bin, and try to put them back that way.

  So, I compromised of sorts.  I started over, with Cherry (I didn't feel like starting over with Jelli, no matter how much I liked her! XD).  

  Jelli: *peeks around door*  Does that, does that mean I'm free?

 

  That's what it means Jelli.  Jaycen, and ten of your kids are free as well.  Only Cherry will be continuing on.  *waves goodbye*

  Jelli: *cheers*  We're free!  Jaycen pack the kids up, we're out of here! 

  Cherry as a toddler.

  

  The no IF mod is still in place, and I am staying far, far, far away from the glitched out Midnight Sun world. I have set Cherry up on a beach lot in Avalon, and so far, it has played like a dream!  Like the game is supposed to play!

  Technically she is Gen 2, so I let her keep the default money the game gave her.  With it, she gets a small house, way nicer than what Jelli started with.  Unfortunately though, Cherry lost her inheritance, she is no longer rich!

 

   Oh yeah, and she gets a couple of cats.  I rarely have pets in the household, but I found a rainbow cat I've been wanting to use, and I figured this was as good as time as any!

  Avalon is a beautiful world, and is very well made.  

 

 I've left all the buildings in, this is just one large abandoned island that Cherry lives on, lol  *called stretching a few rules*  It was just so pretty, and quaint, I couldn't bulldoze it!

 

  Here's Cherry, and her two cats, Reflection (multi-colored cat I found online), and Refraction (blue cat I made).  Cherry, say hello!

   Jelli's last pregnancy went so badly, I didn't get to choose the traits.  Cherry was born with socially awkward and perfectionist.  In CAS I hit the random button and took the trait on top for her last trait, which ended up being loser.  This should be interesting, poor girl.  She has insane (required), dislikes children (required), Socially Awkward, Perfectionist, and Loser.  See, she needed the cats! XD

  Flec (Reflection, rainbow cat) is Genius, Hunter and Proud, it's the traits she came with. Frac (Refraction, blue cat), I hit the random button and he got Non-destructive, Neat, and Clueless. 

  Have I forgotten anything?  Cherry?  Cherry?!  What are you doing?

 Cherry: Huh?  Me?  Just looking for treasures!

 

  Flec, sniffing of hands is acceptable, sniffing of butts is not!  Cherry, you won't find any treasures in there, how about you do something productive, like go gather some fruit.  Oh yeah, that's what I forgot to mention, your LTW, which is to have 20 perfect plants, or whatever the number is.

  So, I'm rebooting this challenge, but it will still be the same as before.  No one moves out unless they die, spouses can only be found in other worlds, and the heir has to have the same color of hair and eyes as Cherry.

Jelli Dislikes Children---A LOT!

Last time Jelli had six kids, and not one of them was heir material!

Jelli: It's not fair I tell you!  I'm tired of being pregnant all the time!

Suck it up Jelli, you have to keep going until you have an heir!  

  I moved them off the water, hoping that would alleviate some of the glitches I was having with the game, it did help with the in game camera but that is all.  

  Kiwi became a teen, at least, I think that is Kiwi, there are too many kids in the house. XD

  

 Jelli has baby #7, a boy, named Huckleberry.

  

   Jelli: Is it an heir?

  Nope, sorry Jelli.  I do believe it's time for drastic measures!

  Jelli: *worriedly*  What kind of drastic measures?

  Oh nothing.  *gives Jelli fertility treatment reward*  Let's see if that helps!  Papaya has a birthday---

 

 Poor Papaya, this is a terrible picture, and it's the only one I took! 
  
Jelli: I really dislike children.  I dislike babies.  I dislike being pregnant!  I hate this!  Strike me down and put me out of my misery!!

Jelli has a bad attitude!  No can do on the striking down Jelli, you have to have an heir first!

  

Jelli: *moans*  But I'm so sick this time around!  What did you do to me?

Nothing...

 Watermelon becomes a teen.

  

Watermelon: Why are you so happy?

Banana: A girl my age! *claps*  I'm so excited!

Watermelon: We need to break this contract!  Do you realize we'll never be allowed to get married or have kids?

Banana: Why not?

Watermelon: It's quite obvious sister dear, we are not the heirs, and this house is too full!

  Quite right.  You guys get to be single forever.  Sorry.

Not the heir (Huckleberry) becomes a toddler.  

  

Jelli goes into labor, again!  Baby #8, boy, Coconut, not an heir.

  

Jelli: *yells*  Hey!  There's more than one in there! 

  Baby#9, boy, Blackberry, *sighs*, not an heir.

Jelli: *goes loopy*  It's not an heir either?!  Waaahahaha!  *chants crazily*  Not an heir, not an heir!

Jelli!  Stop swinging the baby about!  Put him in the crib!

Jelli: I really dislike children!

Baby in crib---now!

Jelli: *puts Blackberry in crib, clutches stomach*  Aaargh!  There's another baby! *has 3rd baby*  It's hideous!  It's a monster!  Take it away?  Wait, is it an heir?

Baby #10, girl, Pear.  *sobs*  Not an heir either!  Those are just stupid game glitches Jelli, Pear is okay.

Jelli: Whew!  I thought I gave birth to a freak there for a moment!

  Pear has the same outfit as her brother, but, since she's not an heiress, I don't care. XD  The game is horridly glitchy at this point, with really weird things going on.  I track it down to IF dolls, and I delete the doll, and TA the service/roll whatever it's called sim associated with the doll.  Except they come back---like horrid Chucky dolls!  I see their bobbing heads coming up the walkway, and it has the name of one of the IFs I TA'd.  Then my game crashes.  Repeatedly.  I am so irked by this, especially when the last baby (Jelli had quads) is:

  Girl, Cherry, IS THE HEIRESS!  All it took was 11 kids, but Jelli is officially done with having children!

  Jelli: *cries with joy*

  Jaycen: Wait?  *worries* Does this mean no more woohoo?

Safe woohoo from here on out!

  Jaycen and Jelli: Woohoo!!!

  Sorry, bad picture, but the game crashed right after I took this one.  I was just happy I managed to save the game after Jelli had the quads, so I didn't lose my heiress!

  So far, this save has felt like running a marathon!!  With the glitches/crashing, trying to get the kids aged up well (Jelli teaches them all the toddler skills), and Jelli being constantly pregnant, it has been a challenge!  After sending Jelli on a well deserved vacation, I made one last attempt to save this game.  I saved the whole family into the library bin, emptied out Sunset Valley, built a house on the beach,  and placed them in it.  The results of that, will be later!
